On March 2013 the then District Governor Rtn. PDG. Major Donor. H. Shajahan, requested his Assistant Governor Rtn.PHF.P.M.Shajahan to see the possibility of forming a new Rotary Club in Nagercoil. He strongly felt that our city is having a good potentiality with good service minded professionals. His idea was discussed with Rtn.Bhahavath Kumar, who readily accepted to do some follow up action. The idea of forming a new club was discussed by Bhahavath Kumar with Rtn.D.G.Sekar and Rtn.T.S.Ramkumar at his house. A good trial was taken by Sekar and Ramkumar. It was really a wonder that happened in the following two days. Both of them were able to come with a dozen of prospective member list. Rotary Club of Nagercoil Suburban P.M.Shajahan's home club with the consultation of its Board proudly came forward to sponsor our club.
